According to the Employee Benefit Research Institute’s website 67% of people aged 55+ feel they have enough money to live comfortably throughout their retirement years. However, only 54% of respondents in that age group have tried to calculate how much money they will need to make it through retirement. Don’t assume you have enough until you have actually ‘run the numbers’ which includes a strong focus on tax planning.
